Sun Poker review

A Cryptologic network-member, Sun Poker is a tropical poker paradise. That’s the feeling they’re trying to convey through their user interface, too. Although a bit dull and increasingly aged-looking, the Cryptologic software still does a good-enough job of bringing good poker action into people’s homes. Because it’s a member of a large network and because it’s been around for 10 years now, Sun Poker gets pretty fair player traffic. There are about 5000 players at the tables at top hours, with about 1700 at ring tables. It is enough to provide action for most limits/stakes, although some fresh blood wouldn’t hurt in this respect.

Some say Sun Poker games are pretty tight, on my part, I think there are lots of fish playing at this poker room. Games are pretty loose, and thus the value you get from playing there, is pretty high.

The tournaments that they offer are the regular mix of STTs and MTTs, there’s nothing particularly outstanding about them, and they are well-trafficked indeed.

The most attractive thing about Sun Poker is their loyalty reward system. In that respect, I’d say it’s worth playing at Sun Poker. Another big advantage Sun has working for them is the 30% rakeback they offer. Bonuses are not deduced from rake either, so all in all, it’s not a bad deal to say the least.

Sun Poker offers live rake tracking, so you know at all times what you’ve produced. The MPPs that you earn at Sun Poker through real money play can be traded in for merchandize or can be used up as tournament buy-ins too.

The Sun Poker support team is quite outstanding. Support is offered through phone, email, fax and live chat. Out of all these the live chat feature is the one set to bring you the best solutions in the shortest period of time, for zero costs.
